For fans of psychedelic/prog (especially the German variety), check this out

Warning: given the looks of the players, you might get contact high all these years later. This whole thing appears to be drenched in acid.

Maybe not a sedate throughout as PV, but certainly droned out at times.

So outside and whack but so damn tight! I have a couple of Mahavishnu records and JM playing with Miles, but had no idea this lineup existed until today. Thanks a ton!

Definitely psychedelic, but I don't hear the precision & technique I associate with prog. Trippy, but a bit sloppy.
I am fascinated with that synthesizer he was using.
Don't believe I've ever seen that one, and I've seen a lot of them. Geez, I owned a bunch of them!.

I actually have heard of the EMS line. Either I've never seen one, or did and don't remember it.
I believe that was what Eno used.

line was the main synth on “On the Run.” And while I’m no synth historian, I think it’s innovative pin-matrix approach to patching was unique and allowed the unit it to be a portable alternative to full-on Moog systems (the Mini Moog lost most of the routing options that EMS still provided).
