My wife is in Nanaimo visiting her 99 year old mother. The local hospital administrator told her that hundreds of

physicians from the states are applying for positions. Bodes well for the area as it is underserved.

They are expediting both the immigration and credentialing processes- so far this year we’ve gotten a couple dozen nurses and a handful of docs already, in Nanaimo alone.
