Google "Great American Bitch" from the musical "SUFFS", available on youtube. In the
song, when it is Lucy Burns' turn, she sings, "I'm a great American. . . honestly, I just don't love that word" and goes on with Alice Paul relating an incident when they were in college. I love that number..
I shocked one jerk who called me the c-word so much with my gushing reaction that I suspect he never used the word again.
