Hi, I'm Ken Dayenu

I'm "new' to DU. My wife is a long time member and she was constantly touting the group, so I decided to check it out.

When I say I'm new, this is actually my third attempt at DU. The first time, I got kicked off. Second time, I deleted my account. I don't think I lasted a week either time. Here is hoping third time is the charm. I was drawn back by the posts of one particular member which I found comforting in these troubled times.

My goal is to have interesting discussions, learn new things, or at least be amused. My hope is that I provide that to others as well.

I self deleted all my posts and changed my password by typing random characters on the keyboard so I wouldn't be able to log back in.

I was wondering about that. As far as I know, there is no way for one to actually self-delete one's account here.

I hope this things go better this time around.
