Cool water mapping tool

This has been around for a few years but is a great time killing and educational tool at the same time. Debated putting it in GD but it's not really political so I think it's Lounge material.

Click anywhere on the map and it will trace the route a water drop there would take to get to the ocean or other final destination. It even does a flyover of the route. I've spent hours on the site seeing what rivers and streams connect to each other.

I followed several water-drop pathways.
Thanks for sharing, electricmonk.

I've had great fun with it. There's a spot near me that one side of the street the drop will end up in Gulf of Mexico via the Ohio River and on the other in the Atlantic Ocean via the Roanoke River. People always talk about the Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountains but rarely talk about the Eastern Continental Divide along the Appalachians.

Yet one goes west and ends up in the Gulf of Mexico; while the other one heads directly south to empty on the Atlantic side of the Florida Keys. Amazing!!
