Are Fourth of July plans going on as usual?

7. Welp, normally around this time of year I would be attending a sci-fi convention...

Because our former housemate would cover my admission. We have moved now, and I am no longer among the 'annointed'. Hubby works that day as well, so I will be sitting here with nothing to do, no one to do it with, and no way to afford to do anything anyway.
