I was driving home this evening after eating an early supper at the local Waffle House (part of my involved plot to dirty up somebody else's kitchen), when, while waiting for one of our three traffic lights to turn green, the clouds shifted a little bit and this bright spot showed up all of a sudden! Could it have actually been the - Gasp! - Sun? A minute later it was gone again, leaving me to sit there with the steering wheel in a death grip as I recovered from the shock.
Nah, couldn't be! We have had nothing but rain, drizzle, fog, or gray skies to no purpose for so long that, if the drying out started tomorrow, the ground would no longer be saturated sometime around the end of April.
Anyhow, I can't believe I got a glimpse of the Sun today. Anybody see any reports of a UFO over the Midsouth?

More on the way tonight.
Next 2 week forecast, no signs of UFOs.

?Getting sunburnt around their sun glasses; having to wear them after the sun began to emerge from the "cloudy season", and staying out.
