How many of these stories are real?

I like watching or reading these stories at YouTube, but I can't help but wonder how many are simply made up.

For one thing, they use phrases that are identical from story to story.

1. Oh most likely made up.

I think a lot of wanna be writers make stuff up and just throw it out there. Just my opinion.

2. Assuming they're false unless/until proven otherwise saves a lot of time.

That pretty much applies to anything on social media.

whatever provides me the most entertainment: if believing is more fun than disbelieving, then I go with that.

But if it actually matters, critical thinking applies...

3. There's a lot of nonsense, glurge, urban legends and confabulation on Facebook.

Some of it may be true but it's a safe bet that almost all of those tales are either spun off from other stories or made up from whole cloth.

Münchausen syndrome really does occur.

If these stories were real, would they use full names? Probably AI generated anyway.

7. Some of them happen in Asia or Europe.

All too often though I see stories of people who end up in jail for decades even though they are Innocent, or kids ending up brain-damaged or dead.
