I’ve been checking all the poop in Barry’s cage. Is it loose or too firm?

I can tell Batty is upset. She was with about 70 other tortoises until my granddaughter got it. Then got used to just having 4 others around. Now in a cage with no one else. For now I’m going to say she just because it seems wrong saying “it”. She pretty much stays in the food bowl. One of those ramped ones built for them. I’m not sure but thinking about seeing if I can get one of the other ones. Just so she has a companion.

1. Congratulations on Betty's arrival at your home.

If you could get another tortoise it might help Betty adjust. My only caveat is that you talked about willing Betty to your niece. How would she feel about 2 tortoises? Otherwise I think it as excellent idea! You are a thoughtful dad! You all take care.

2. It was my granddaughter she was the one who got them originally.

As a trade. Before I took Batty we agreed she would inherit Batty back.
