... Georgia last in '62. Saw my first 'colored drinking water only' and first chain gang. It made an impression and was one of my sparks: a kid who just could not get the "why" of it.
Georgia is on my list, NC and SC, also. Changes have been and are being made, too slow to be sure, but there is movement.
