I'm tired of prescription tv ads.

I’ve never liked them in the first place but now they’ve seemed to have taken over. I’m not sure if I’ve seen a commercial break that didn’t have a ad about some kind prescription medicine. If it wasn’t prescription ads it’s take this vitamin or whatever and your life will be great.

upbeat music, and obligatory doom-and-gloom health risk and side effect disclaimers is, shall we say, a bit much.

I have always had to defend myself when I state that a certain movie was not entertaining to me because it was based on real events or depicts modern reality. I prefer the escapism that entertainment offers. If I wanted to be reminded about reality, I would go out in it, thank you very much.

It generally sucks, and I'm sure doctors get tired of their patients doggedly asking them about taking miracle drugs that might kill them.

And I almost never see ads of any kind.

But ... when I do see them ... I have to freeze-frame and read all the fine print at the bottom. It's really funny!
The percentage of outright fraud and scams has gone through the roof.

If you can't record and skip over the commercials, please use the mute button or risk losing your sanity!

Being a Veteran, my VA Dr actually asked me, "you need an anti depression med, which one do you want?, I replied, you are the Doctor, i just watch TV. I want to feel half of what the commercials show" she laughed and said " ok, let's try this"
Yes, dunc, the worst law ever written, was ,

Pharmacy could advertise on TV,

MrsK died by self prescribing
MrsK prior, died because her Doc asked her, " what do ya need?" I just cried,
I pumped 2 chests. I watched 2 people die, Mrsk and ex MrsK.
I wonder, as im single living now.
Who's gonna pump my chest, because they watched TV?
I sit in VA waiting room, to get health care, not to be a Neilson rating.

Our television plays DVDs and two or three no-advertising streaming services. That's all it does.

I find television advertising intolerable. There are already too many annoying voices in my head. My wife has always preferred reading.
