Many years ago, Joyce Andersen wrote a song in response to our invasion of Iraq. She performed it recently in support of Kamala.

First I post her own words, then,a link to the performance:

This song is excerpted from my Kamala Harris inspired concert from September 22, 2024. It was written on the eve of our Invasion of Iraq in 2003. It has been sung by choirs, in churches, at peace rallies and the audience really helped me on this version. We were feeling it! Someone told me years ago they brought the song to Palestine for children of different backgrounds to sing together. It is being posted now a year after the horrific Oct 7th terror attack on Israel. War escalates and many of us feel unrepresented by our country's military choices. May we seek peace. Peace in our homes, with our neighbors, in our towns, across this land and around this precious and fragile earth.

still believing in the power of song,
Joyce Andersen
