Those not familiar with The Paul Finebaum Show and/or...

one of Paul's frequent callers--the late, great Phyllis from Mulga (Alabama)-are in for a treat. FWIW, Phyllis is ranting about another sports talk show host, Colin Cowherd, in this clip.

This was back when he was broadcasting from the Birmingham area. I remember many regular listeners would call in, including the woman from Mulga.

When Coach Franchione was rumored to be leaving Bama to go to Texas A&M, I think it was Phyllis ranting that such a travesty would never happen, that Franchione loved the Tide too much, and he'd never leave because the fans loved him so much.

Franchione was GONE in like, 2 weeks. This was in 2002.

She be cray-zay.
