My favorite version, Nassau Coliseum 1979. Weir and Garcia trade off verses when singing. Garcia is playing so fast at the final jam that Weir's brain must have melted a little and he came in too early on the final verse.

I saw them in Rochester fall of 79. I left the show and hitch hiked to Berkeley and never left. It was always special to see them play at home and all the nights of Gerry playing the Keystone... My my my, special. Thanks for posting.

That was a good one. My favorite era was between 77 and 80. Attended many Winterland shows from 69 up, and was at the Winterland Fair Well Party where they began the last set with “Dark Star” then continued till almost 6:00am. Been almost 45 years and I’m still seeing those colorful dot’s. - But they’re nice and friendly dots. 🤩🤓😎
