Update forgot to mention that there was potato salad and sheet cake.

4. Well, I'm 70 + a bit, and I day dream about chicken.

But unless I go out by myself and buy it cooked, then eat it in the car, it ain't gonna happen.

Wife decided (a non-religious epiphany of sorts?) to become a vegan - the worst type, a MILITANT no meat no milk no eggs type of vegan!
Swears at any TV ads involving any sort of meat.

And little old me has to follow her directions, right?
(Mostly, I don't want to die in my sleep . . .)

Making a roast chicken is extremely easy. There are lotsa good videos on you tube for beginners

My son’s gf is total vegan, she doesn’t eat eggs, honey, fish, nothing that isn’t plant based. So my son fixes his own dinners when she’s making something he doesn’t care for and he has turned into quite a gourmet cook.

Except for me it was a dream about the love of my life, which I'm happy to say was cuddled up right next to me!
I count myself a fortunate man each and every day of my life, come what may!

We're coming up on forty years of marriage December 31 of this year. Started dating her when she was 16 and I was 17. I'm 60 now. We've known each other since I was in 2nd grade and she was in 1st grade. Love is real!

But it sucks when you wake up just as you're about to taste it. That's happened to me.

12. I've been dreaming the same.

A local fried chicken restaurant that was voted the best fried chicken in the State of Illinois closed down.

I used to eat there at least once a week and often more.

Now all we have left in town is a very sad, neglected KFC.

Damn, I miss that good honey-dipped chicken with fresh biscuits.
