…of foster fails is. I know I would be one. How delightful the student decided to keep her.

I once commented here on DU that it takes me about 30 seconds to fall in love with a kitten. Someone responded, “Why so long?”

I often wonder if fosters feel somewhat abandoned initially when they go to their forever homes. Maybe I’m being too anthropomorphic.

It has been scientifically shown, through brain scans, that dogs experience love of their humans.

Pretty sure that dog would have suffered traumatically if separated from that young lady for long.
