I choose the "resize for message boards" and then click "choose your photo". The site will give you a direct link that you can copy and paste to your post.

The basic rule is that nothing gets uploaded to DU, as you would do in an email.
Pictures are only direct links to images hosted somewhere else.
imgbb is shrinking images that I already shrunk for posting, to the point where they lose sharpness.
I will find a host or hosts for posting stuff for "show" and also for sales.
Looking at pixieset and smugmug for sales.
My programming services are available (at unreasonable rates) to make the process uniform and easier.
