I missed seeing her a few years back when she appeared in Branson, MO for a couple of years (I lived in the area, but was unable to attend). Two of my favorite movies featuring the actress are "Finian's Rainbow" and "Goodbye Mr. Chips". Great performances in both films by Petula among others in her career.

...rather than deal with their problems.

I was 14 when this song came out in 1965 and just thought it was a good song. I wasn't corrupted by this innocent little ditty.

Brilliant. She's a phenomenen. It's unbelievable to think that she has sung in front of Churchill, Montgomery... and me!
