he was a legislative aide to U.S. House Rep. Joe Hoeffel (D) and had served in the PA state House as a state Rep. for a buncho f years, then was a County Commissioner for a couple terms, and then ran for and won election as the state Attorney General - all before running for governor. So he has lots of political experience. As AG, he was smacking down the idiot AG Ken Paxton in TX and all that guy's nonsensical election-denying lawsuits against PA.

He has good bipartisan support too which is rare considering how polarized things have become in this state. So we're all hoping that will help to start deprogramming some of the most wishy washy but still-trying-to-lockstep Republicans in the state, so they can break out of their stupor, and get back to governing.

I didn't know his solid background, so thanks for that. And with bipartisan support, he's definitely a leader for these times. If only we could get TFG out of the way so that all of this country can go back to working for the people instead of appeasing an aspiring authoritarian.

45 has taken all the oxygen out of the room and it has been a nightmarish drag and overlay over everything.

And it's been that way since the 2016 campaign - as you said, it overwhelms everything.
