Related: About this forumPutin's latest move includes a map of the 17th century
During a meeting with Valery Zorkin, the chairman of the Constitutional Court in Russia, President Vladimir Putin used a map from the 17th century to explain that Ukraine was created under the USSR. CNNs Erin Burnett and Matthew Chance report.
Has anyone informed Vladdy boy that there was a time Russia did not exist? Let's pull out one of those maps.

Ukraine was mentioned by the Norse 1000 years ago. Russia didn't really exist back then, Ukraine was the center of Slavic civilization and what is now Russia was a largely empty land with few farms and settlements and a lot of nomadic trappers, hunters, and reindeer herders. The Norse traveled up and down the Don and built trading outposts inside Russia and that is where their civilization started. They did fuck all by themselves.
Iran was once listed as part of Russia. They won't take to reconquest any better than the Ukrainians did.
