I’m not a lawyer, but what the CEO of Intel is saying to Congress sure sounds like extortion to me. No, I do not believe we need to provide the microchip industry with a blank check of over $76 billion.

Oddly it won’t cause any inflation nor will there be any ‘moral hazard’ from handing out loot to the Billionaire Boys Club.

Same shit different day.

fed side before being released from any loans or anything.

Pisses me off that we have to pay them to bring manufacturing back to our shores but is this the only way to make sure they pay US taxes and not off-shore the profits?

I hope they don't screw this up
