Ten people were killed and three injured during a mass shooting at a Buffalo, New York, supermarket Saturday afternoon, according to the city's police commissioner. 9. I used to feel reasonably safe living in NY

because we do have some fairly good gun laws and we are a blue state, despite the red rural pockets.

But now, we, too, have a mass hate crime, not only in NY, but near me as a western New Yorker.

And the hatemongers get away with encouraging it in the name of free speech.

I want to see survivors and friends and relatives of the dead win a civil suit against Tucker and others like him. We have to have a way to fight back.

If we can't do it in the courts, then it's time to picket Tucker's home and every place he goes. Not a moment's peace for him until he resigns. Picket Fox headquarters and every cable company that carries Fox.

We have got to fight back, dammit! Hound him with the murderer label and make it stick until scum like him are so isolated and reviled that no one will listen to them.

I really don't get it, I was born in Albany, my Dad grew up there, and as the Capital city, it's fairly diverse. And I grew up In Saratoga Springs, about a half hour north, and that's a fairly diverse community, but it never dawned on me that anyone was "different," since no one ever said anything, not my teachers and certainly not my parents or grandmother. My Sunday School teacher was a really nice black lady who was especially friendly with my mother, since my mother taught the youngest kids and my teacher's little boy was in her class - and he cried when Mom left him.

So I really don't get it, bigotry is something that needs to be taught, And I can't believe it's still happening in the 21st century.

when other people come into the country and are allowed to vote. Or something to that effect.

Why should he worry when conservatives are looking to steal elections? And besides, votes don't get diluted unless you live in a State that is negatively affected by the electoral college. One person does not equal one full vote. Tucker is just accustom to getting more for doing less.

5. This is nothing new, not just immigrants "diluting" the vote.

Back in the 80s when my daughter was in elementary school she had a friend one year whose parents were fundies. The father was very controlling. No only where the daughters and his wife not allowed to wear jeans or trousers, but the mother wasn't allowed to vote because he couldn't be sure of who she would vote for and if she voted for someone or something that that he was against, that would negate his vote. Only the head of the family (the man of course) was allowed to vote.

In my family, when I was really small, doubt I was in school yet, my Dad used to take me into the voting booth with him and lift me up to push the levers. Of course, he told me which levers to push, no idea who I voted for, LOL. But then, it was good practice...
