Part of his pro-fascist ideology (which is heavily laced with a weird mixture of Russian Orthodoxy and pre-Christian Nordic paganism) is that a likely outcome of “Eurasia” taking on “Atlantis” (the evil alliance of the U.S. and U.K.) is that it will bring about the end of the world – but that’s not a bad thing, as the good guys from Eurasia will immediately be taken to Heaven/Valhalla/wherever.

Only a madman at the top would order it.

Hopefully, if it comes to it, strong and sane people in the Russian chain of command would say 'Nyet!' and make it stick.

Otherwise, most of Europe and more distant parts of the globe, as well as a large part of the human population, can bend over and kiss their asses goodbye.
