Baldwin’s great. The skit was funny. I just find Carrey’s energy to be not a great match.

It was funny, but Carrey turns Joe Biden into more of a cartoon figure than Alec Baldwin's Trump. Joe Biden doesn't make faces and jump all over - Jim Carrey is still doing Fire Marshal Bill from "In Living Color."

His misnaming her were funny and mostly the only really funny part of this.

I think Carrey is getting into the subtleties more. When he was cast I thought - uh oh, it’s impossible to not lose a scene to him. I thought this was his best performance so far.

but Jim Carrey does a good Jim Carrey, and that's about it. This is a special kind of fail.

It was too needy and dopey. Carrey's needs some work, but it is getting better. Loved the "Eastwooding it" and ""I kick ass and I take trains and I don't see any trains in sight."

But he is a lousy Joe Biden making him full of repressed anger. That is Trump, not Biden. The Rudy was great.
