Tiger Woods' rollover crash is golfer's fourth high-profile car accident and second DUI arrest

JUPITER ISLAND, Fla. (AP) — Tiger Woods’ arrest Friday for a car crash in Florida was at least the fourth auto-related incident involving the golfer and the second in which he was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Woods showed signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene of the crash in which he struck another vehicle and rolled his Land Rover not far from his home on Jupiter Island, authorities said. He did a Breathalyzer test, which came out negative, but refused to take a urine test. Neither Woods nor the person in the other vehicle were injured, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said.

Woods was charged Friday with driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test, both misdemeanors.

Here’s a look at his other crashes over the past couple decades.

He should have his license revoked. This is his third major crash in less than 10 years. And second DUI.

"It was a prescription drug that had side effects so no DUI will be charged."

That's my guess how this rich person will evade accountability.

Tiger should have his license revoked. He's a menace on the road. He can certainly afford to hire a driver. Fucking idiot.

He's going to kill someone, or himself, or both if he doesn't kick his opioid habit.

Take his damn keys away already. Of course he's privilege personified, so he'll plead no contest or whatever the entitled do.

The first car incident I can remember was the one his pr team scrubbed. They said something like his wife saved him from his car. I think the initial gossip reports were true. Elin found out he was cheating...he was either trying to flee in his suv or he locked himself inside of it to get away from her...she bashed the windows in with a golf club (how's that for irony). She probably used the club better than he does nowadays.

The only houses you see are for the full time employees that live on the owner's estate. Trees make it shady most of the time. Hobe Sound is at the end. A beautiful area but like most of Florida all human created. People fish in the Indian River. Some trying to catch a meal, others brought by Rolls Royce.
Such is Florida.

Make no mistake, he should not be endangering other people. So he needs to stop and he needs to face the consequences of his actions. He sounds like a privileged little ninny.

But you can't deny the talent and it's always sad to me to see someone with exceptional talent just throw everything away. He's been intent on throwing it all away for years now. So, maybe rock bottom would teach him a lesson and possibly save his life.

exact same way a “regular” citizen would be. He’s proven himself to be a danger to others and really should spend time in jail followed by forced attendance at AA. Nobody else would get off the hook with a 2nd DUI that caused a serious accident. I am so sick of rich people being treated differently.

I must confess that it isn’t clear what the repercussions will be, but I have very little faith that it will be equitable.
