Trump's bizarre Valentine's Day fundraising letter asked do you still love me? - and E Jean Carroll said she received it

Source: The Independent

Sunday 15 February 2026 15:00 EST

E. Jean Carroll, the writer who won an $83.3 million defamation lawsuit against President Donald Trump after he denied sexually abusing her, said she received a Valentine’s Day-themed fundraising email from a political action committee associated with the president that asks “do you still love me?”

The email, from “secret admirer Donald J. Trump,” begs people to read the “love letter” from the president and prove their devotion with a monetary donation.

“Roses are red, violets are blue. Do you still love Trump, as I love you?” the email from the PAC Never Surrender Inc. says. “Before you read my letter – do you still love me and our great movement?” It adds, with a photo of Trump putting a Valentine's Day card in a mailbox. “I love you, and I was pretty sure you loved me back! Is everything ok?”

Carroll wrote on X: “Yes. This is a real email. No .I did not sign up on this mailing list. Yes. We are living in a crazy world.”

He doesn’t have to go in as one big, flabby chunk… I’m sure we could make it work.

I have a separate email account set up just for Trump. In the past 6 weeks I’ve received 255 emails. Every single one is a fundraiser including that one. Some of them are really bizarre.

And these are just from Trump, none are from GOP candidates. His grift is constant.

of escrow but when it comes time to pay up, there’ll be nothing left. Name then the reason(s) for that and the result will still be the same -
she’ll get zilch.

Judge affirms $83.3 million verdict against Donald Trump in E. Jean Carroll defamation case

Source: CNN Politics

Published 5:48 PM EST, Thu February 8, 2024

(snip)

This will be the second judgment Carroll has won against Trump. Last year a jury awarded her $5 million in damages after finding Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation for denying Carroll’s rape allegation, saying she wasn’t his type, and suggesting she made up the story to sell copies of a book.

Trump set aside $5.5 million in an account that is controlled by the court. That money will not be released until all appeals, including potentially to the Supreme Court, are exhausted. Last May, Trump appealed the verdict to the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals, which has not yet heard arguments.

And with respect to the $83 million -

Judge approves Trump's $91.6 million bond in E. Jean Carroll defamation case

Judge Lewis Kaplan has approved Donald Trump's $91,630,000 bond in the defamation case brought by columnist E. Jean Carroll, according to an order filed Tuesday afternoon.

"Enforcement of the Judgment, to the extent that the Judgment awards damages, is STAYED pending the final disposition of the appeal by the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit," the order said.

The order stayed the execution of the judgment in the case while Trump appeals. If Trump's appeal is unsuccessful, the bond ensures Carroll will be paid.

The former president had obtained an appeals bond from the Virginia-based Federal Insurance Company totaling $91,630,000 to cover the $83 million judgment in the case plus interest, according to a court filing on Friday. The conditions of the bond did not specify what assets Trump used to secure the bond.

He has NO CONTROL over that money. The COURTS control it.

And I plead the fifth on whether I consider it funny.
Well okay it isn’t. Live free or die!

I am dealing with a firehose in a way as my brain kinda unsnarls. I used to be a very literal-minded person some 14-15 years ago. With the outside world.

I tried to at least come off as painstakingly sincere while generally struggling to get things working. But I have always been honest and non transactional. It is the one quality I have that can compensate a little for a sadly very sparse information, knowledge and skill set.

And screw anyone who doesn’t want to hear about jfz9580m! It is science! In a way…

Some day, I would like to learn to accomplish forward movement less like..a pondskater comes to mind as the least clumsy and inelegant option.

It makes sense now why I specifically latched on to Yasha Levine finally

I am a civilian scientist and if I am national security adjacent, I do not mind it when it is honest and non-mercenary and non-transactional (the last thing you want in security) and non-bloated.

Then I need a partner of high trust who is specifically focused on the same.

So I have cobbled together in my head..I have the right to be absurd! It is a function!
I will be shrill! I have rights!

I seriously am not a joke and now this strange task tied to information makes me look like a damn joker..

I have cobbled together a sort of ragtag imaginary team. Protective alleles for schizophrenia rights!
(That is actually my ex’s joke. One of the times I was rambling on about how every creep has rights but ol’ jfz9580m is shuttled from one hell to another..and he started saying Creep Rights!
I explain my jokes so I am not a cryptic national security creep but still a nice middleaged female eccentric..which I was trying desperately to hide)…

;-/… Eccentricity rights!!
But well I don’t troll and it is a huge pile of info to process fast. Because like Ed Zitron got..everything in the real world is kind of perfect. Tejas Thackeray was also correct, in nature everything is inter-linked.

I sneer at those tacky intelligently designed or creationist things loaded with stolen labor built ai predictions versus what MAHB or all my old colleagues (who are all awesome and I am sorry I am called some of them names-I didn’t understand and was trying to accept everything ..I have to kick out a lot of stuff unceremoniously and ungraciously where I am not filing complaints, but stay away from me).

I post here because I support and trust EarlG. At a less (distantly) dire time that would sound sycophantic, but it isn’t at all.

Just a concerned citizen scientist of the globe.

It won’t go the way of the Babbage Difference Engine. I am off the lemming or just lame bus. Those guys are awful..whoever they are..
Cowards..and no I am not actually an anonymous coward.
Defender of Earth!
Not crazy…

I don't know, maybe there's a mole working in the White House, and they thought it would be funny/cute to send it to E. Jean?

Or more likely what happened is that a lazy staffer obtained some "political donors" list and E. Jean was on there. They were too lazy to go through the list and remove the obviously inappropriate ones.
