FBI attempting to schedule interviews with 6 members of Congress who made video about troops disobeying illegal orders

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Omaha Steve (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Source: ABC News

The FBI is attempting to schedule interviews with the six Democratic members of Congress who made a video saying troops should not obey any illegal orders, according to multiple sources familiar with the situation.

The FBI would conduct these interviews on behalf of the Justice Department, and it is unclear when the interviews would be held amid the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the sources said.

Democratic Sen. Elissa Slotkin, one of the six Democratic lawmakers in the video, said the "FBI's Counterterrorism Division appeared to open an inquiry" into her.

"The President directing the FBI to target us is exactly why we made this video in the first place. He believes in weaponizing the federal government against his perceived enemies and does not believe laws apply to him or his Cabinet. He uses legal harassment as an intimidation tactic to scare people out of speaking up," Slotkin said in a post on X on Tuesday.

and refuse to talk to them, or if they do decide to talk to the FBI, their first question should be, "am I being accused of a crime?
If so, then I invoke my 5th Amendment right and any questions can be relayed to my lawyer, otherwise, take a long walk off of a short pier".

Absolutely nothing of substance. That is the makeup of this gang of garbage. BUT, let us segue to a heaping helping of EPSTEIN while kegsbreath delves into the nuances of the UCMJ and finds nothing about he must be obeyed unconditionally. A breathtaking update will soon be provided by trumps rapidly aging carolyin.

... as much will come of it as the secret service interview of Comey for posting a photo of an 8647 sea shell display as a "death threat"

You just can't make a bad act out of simply capturing an "impeach 47" message, or of a video summarizing the law.

which is what I'm hoping they do, but I don't think it'll get that far, it's already backfiring badly on AG Blondi and Pedonald.

I would imagine you already know this.

meet with the agent(s), hand him/her/them a copy of the UCMJ opened to the page with the relevant Article (92?), tell the person holding the UCMJ to read it out loud then ask "exactly what did I do or say that isn't exactly what you just read aloud?" Then tell them to leave. Oh, and do it with the press present.
