ICE official defends agency's tactics amid fallout from raid on wrong home in Portland, Oregon

Source: CBS News

Updated on: October 20, 2025 / 8:43 PM EDT / CBS News

In footage shared widely on social media last week, federal immigration agents were seen breaking into Gloria Magaña's home Portland, Oregon, even though the person they were looking for does not live there. The agents forced their way into the home without showing a warrant, Magaña told CBS News.

The raid occurred on Oct. 15. Magaña, a native of Mexico, said she got a call from her children, who told her the agents were shouting for someone named Israel, but nobody in their home goes by that name. She said she told her children to lock themselves inside a room.

With guns drawn, agents broke open the room's door. Magaña's daughter took a video of the heavily-armed agents telling them to put their hands up as her daughter, a three-month-old baby, cried. One of the agents asked if any of the men inside the room were named Israel.

Outside of the home, witnesses asked the federal officers for information. "Stop watching TikTok. We don't have to identify ourselves to you," one agent was heard saying on video recorded by a witness. While federal officials have since admitted they were looking for someone else, agents still detained Magaña's 20-year-old son and her partner, saying they were in the U.S. illegally.

soon to be galloping.....................

working towards a point financially, when they can crush the 99% without having to worry about the government's major source of funding:
.............Income Taxes.......

The Republicans installed a MAJOR military presence in Washington D.C............not to protect the citizens of that city, ......but to subtly fortify the defenses of the White House, U.S. Capitol, etc against an all out insurrection by the citizens.....

Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago are just diversions and a way to test/practice the defenses D.C....... They knew they couldn't defend Mar-a-gago......

The gathering of our top U.S. military commanders from around the world was just to feel them out, and see how many they could count on for a military coup...........

The show of military force, in L.A., with launching of rockets, was to demonstrate to ALL the people in L.A. of their military power against rebellion....

Everything is designed as a test, including the paving over the rose garden, starting the building of the new addition to the White House......throwing out shit to test the limits of the citizens apathy......

And we don't need no stinkin' warrants.

At some point, citizens exercising their Second Amendment rights, are going to blow them away. I would, if some random masked men broke down my door. FAFO.

Martial law is coming. The orange tyrant is looking for excuses, or he might not even bother with that anymore.
