Exclusive: Peter Thiel in talk on 'Antichrist' says he told Elon Musk not to give wealth to charity

Source: Reuters

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Peter Thiel, the billionaire venture capitalist and early supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump, has urged long-time associate Elon Musk to quit the Giving Pledge under which signatories leave the majority of their wealth to charity.

In transcripts and audio of lectures given by Thiel and shared with Reuters, Thiel in September recalled how he recently warned Musk that his wealth would go "to left-wing nonprofits that will be chosen by Bill Gates."

Musk, now the world's richest man with an estimated $486 billion fortune, signed onto the Giving Pledge in 2012. Co-founded by Gates, the pledge asks signatories to give to charitable causes of their choosing, in their lifetime or in their wills. Gates has funded global health and gender equality initiatives, among other efforts.

Musk took the concerns seriously, Thiel said. Spokespeople for Thiel, Musk and Gates did not immediately comment or respond to Reuters inquiries.

ever actually took over.

"Libertarians" are the scum of the earth. This nutjob "philosophy" was already tried in the 19th century and early 20th (laissez faire) and it was proven a colossal failure shown by something called the Great Depression. It actually undermines capitalism, not preserves it in any way.

It's like people have to be taught and retaught the truth about history, and some idiots STILL perpetuate ruinous , discredited, and debunked ideas.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man’s oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness. - John Kenneth Galbraith

People need to quit using that word to describe the radical right and "libertarians." They aren't out to conserve or preserve anything. They want to DESTROY. THAT is radical or extremist--NOT "conservative." JKG wrote that during a different time, decades ago, when there were "conservatives."

If I see anybody using that word to describe the current movement by the radical right, I immediately tune them out and refuse to listen or read further.

His campaign of lies was financed by Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. But there's no Russia connection to Trump and MAGA.

against the values that Christ preached, is worried about the anti-Christ emerging in the future. The anti-Christs are already here. All he and his fellow compatriot scum need to do is look in their mirrors.

Maybe like in the vampire movies, though they can't see their own reflection.

Jeff Bezos had to give half his fortune to his ex thru their divorce and he still had more than enough left over to build a giant penis to fly into outer space. His ex wife, MacKenzie Scott, is a philanthropist and still hasn't endowed or given all of it away either. They'll create monuments to themselves in their final years.

14. Thiel funded merger of Musk's first venture X with Thiel's Cofinity forming PayPal

Thiel has become a fundie lately. For the past two years he's been a Silicon Vallie evangelist focusing on prophecy and the Antichrist. His ideas about Armageddon are borrowed heavily from a Nazi jurist Carl Schmitt who defended Hitler. For Thiel, an investor who lit the financial fuses on both Facebook and the AI revolution, who cofounded PayPal and Palantir and who launched the career of an American vice president, Thiel believes the antichrist will come, not surprisingly, in the form of an AI doomer. More likely, Thiel financed the AntiChrist's 2024 election campaign by donating heavily to Trump and getting Trump to pick Vance, also financed by Thiel along with Zuckerberg and Musk, as VP. When the scapegoat dies, the AntiChrist will be president.
