'Never Going to Let It Go’: Trump’s Golf Day Takes an Awkward Turn As He Starts Venting to Friends About Being Mistreated, Their Reactions Say It All

• 6h
..............

Trump attended the Ryder Cup Golf Tournament at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York. Accompanied by his granddaughter Kai, an aspiring golfer, Trump was seen with a group of friends, venting about something far removed from golf. The President was passionately recounting his recent teleprompter malfunction during a visit to the United Nations.

“They took away my teleprompter… stone cold black!” he told the group. He continued to elaborate on his frustration at being left without support, even suggesting the mishap was intentional.

“It kicked in at minute 24. So, I was out there by my lonesome,” he said.

“He’s not letting it go,” commented one of @_johnnymaga’s followers after the account shared the clip on X.

Another user added, “His own people were operating the teleprompter.”

“Imagine reminding everyone over and over again about how your own team embarrassed you at the UN. Twice,” said another, accompanied by a humorous gif.

He may have had genuine friends in the past, but as his narcissism grows, his inability to interact with anyone who isn't a sycophant diminishes. I honestly believe that is why he has made a few statements that puts him slightly at odds with Putin.

In the past, his admiration for dictators and political strongmen was on display as he sought to emulate them. But he has bought into his own delusional PR about his power and stature to the point where now he can't grasp any hierarchy where he isn't at the very top.

He's going to truly forget all the Putin has done for him/has on him and cross Putin because he thinks he can get away with it.

Trump has no friends. He has users, takers, sycophants, and of course donors, but no friends.

What could Putin release that would make the Old Man's base turn on him?

I think with the Epstein files it is more the stonewalling and obfuscation that is getting to his people than the idea that Trump may have schtuped teenage girls. I think most of them would give him a pass on that. Something about age of consent in Biblical times. Or some other rationale.

What could Putin reveal that would actually bring down the Teflon OAP?

Golden showers with prostitutes - prurient but ultimately meaningless.
Murder - Didn't happen or the guy/girl deserved it. Or it was within his rights.
Financial Shenanigans - Business as usual. How real billionaires get their money. Can't wait until I'm one.

I just don't see anything that would stick.

Can't remember his full name. But they were best buds. Attended a lot of jeffrey's parties. Everybody says the hors d'oeuvres were really tasty. Whatever happened to that guy?

Not understanding something, mulling it over repeatedly, finding blame with others, complaining about things.
The more he thinks about this, the more it is amplified in significance.

The escalator and teleprompter incidents will follow him to the grave.

hinted that Obama was incapable of making a speech without it. Now he cries to the world that the UN sabotaged him and his speech by shutting down his teleprompter. Obama could hold a crowd captive just shooting from the hip - he was a really good speaker.
