Well, we had certain elected officials encouraging voters to NOT support the Democratic nominee...

... during the primary, and the apathy that was seeded extended into the general election as well (either by not voting at all, or by not voting for the Democratic ticket). These certain elected officials were echoing and amplifying the lies of "Killer Kamala" and "Genocide Joe". While the bulk of the noise and support for the "Uncommitted" movement emanated from Michigan's elected rep, it also had misguided support from elected reps from as far away as New York City.

Progressive groups such as Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and Our Revolution helped the campaign canvass and email voters. Elabed's sister, Palestinian-American Representative Rashida Tlaib, endorsed the campaign, along with former representative Andy Levin and local officials.[10]

All this, combined with the overtly hostile "Abandon Harris" movement was enough to sabotage the party in swing states.

Those who promoted and encouraged this treachery and disloyalty are, in my opinion, beneath contempt. They can never be trusted. It's unforgivable.

I see a lot of talk online about primarying loyal democrats, but nobody ever makes a suggestion or promotes the idea of primarying the ones perceived by many as being disloyal or saboteurs.
