Minnesota city says Trump campaign still owes more than $200,000 for July rally

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Former President Donald Trump’s campaign still owes St. Cloud nearly $209,000 for services related to a July rally, officials from the central Minnesota city say.

The bill is for services beyond what the city normally provides, The Minnesota Star Tribune reported Monday. A request for comment emailed by The Associated Press to Trump’s campaign was not immediately returned Monday.

Trump and running mate JD Vance spoke to a hockey arena on St. Cloud State University’s campus July 27. An overflow crowd watched Trump speak for more than an hour and a half on a big screen outside the arena.

Expenses include $63,000 for extra police work during the rally, $62,000 to change a construction project near where the rally was held, and close to $2,000 for IT-related services.

is beyond me.

Think of the taxpayer money (including Democrats) being diverted from fixing roads, clean water, the schools, etcc.

His lawyers found a judge who invalidated that requirement. The city got stuck with the entire bill, as per usual with the Slobfather.

he still owes. I'm sure it's between 2-5 MILLION by now. And again, no one from the right is holding this POS accountable for anything he does. It's sickening. If you host the loser, you get what you deserve. The rule of law does not apply to him under any circumstances. He wants to be sued, because he knows it will cost them that much more to try to get their money.

"Hold your right hand out to me and put your left hand under your ass and see which hand gets filled first."

After he'd stop laughing, I'd get the $'s.

But -- St. Cloud? Not so much luck.
