Governor Suggests Trump Is in 'Cognitive Decline' and Has 'Forgotten Who He's Running Against'

Colorado Governor Jared Polis hit back at Donald Trump after the former president cast the city of Aurora as a dystopian hellscape. Speaking in Aurora on Friday, Trump claimed that immigrants have “invaded and conquered” the city. Aurora went viral over the summer after an apartment building owner released a video of gang members inside. Trump and other Republicans went on to falsely claim that a gang of immigrants had taken over the building.

It was the second day in a row Trump bashed the city where he was speaking. The day before in Detroit, he alleged that if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the election, “Our whole country will end up being like Detroit.” Trump blamed Harris and Polis for migrants in Colorado.

Hours later, the governor appeared on CNN’s The Source, where Kaitlan Collins made an observation about the former president’s attack on him.

“What I was thinking about listening to it is he was using the same terms and to attack you that he also used to attack a popular Republican governor in Georgia,” she said. “I mean, he called Brian Kemp also weak and ineffective. And it’s just it wasn’t even just to you. You’re a Democrat, obviously. You’ve criticized him, but he’s also said the same thing about governors in his own party.” Polis responded by suggesting Trump is in cognitive decline.

3. yesterday we had to go to Aurora to help our daughter.

From the "mean streets" of south Havana to the mansions on south Dayton, we traveled the city. All was peaceful and busy at our end. Of course we were several miles from the disgraced felon speaking to his flock 10 miles away.
The young man running the convenience store across from the auto parts store allowed me to use the very clean restroom, despite the fact he had to unlock it and signs everywhere that said "No Public Restroom" He was, of course, an immigrant. Very little english and a lovely smile. I was so grateful.

12. Regarding the mental decline...

... of the Orange Gargoyle, consider this very real possibility: The upper echelons of the terrorist organization formerly know as the Republican Party whimper, "Don't! Stop! Don't stop!" while feeding Trump enough rope to hang himself. In the too-horrible-to-contemplate possibility that the evil turd does eke out a win through some kind of skullduggery, Vance is waiting in the wings to initiate Article 25, by which Trump is removed, and Vance becomes president.
Trump is a loose cannon with a burning fuse, and Leonard Leo and his evil ilk would much prefer someone more malleable who can follow orders, like declaring Project 2025 the Law of the Land, so they can start wreaking havoc on all the institutions Americans rely on.
Leo's malign influence cannot withstand the light of day, and he must be stopped by whatever means necessary. Life without parole on an asteroid would be appropriate.
