Trump plan for Madison Square Garden rally compared to infamous Nazi event

Source: The Guardian

Thu 10 Oct 2024 15.07 EDT

Donald Trump’s decision to hold a rally in the heart of Manhattan on 27 October, nine days before election day, has been slammed by New York Democrats, with one comparing the booking to an infamous Nazi rally held at the same venue in the lead-up to the second world war.

But it has also triggered a backlash to such sentiments, with Republicans saying such rhetoric heightens tensions even more in a presidential election campaign which has already seen two attempts on Trump’s life.

The Democratic state senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal, whose district includes much of the west side of Manhattan where a date on Trump’s “arena tour” rally has been booked at Madison Square Garden, called on venue owners to cancel the event.

“Let’s be clear,” Hoylman-Sigal wrote on X. “Allowing Trump to hold an event at MSG is equivalent to the infamous Nazis rally at Madison Square Garden on February 20, 1939.”

tRUMP is desperate. Surely he's got other more willing, more open cities to go show up, so he's probably needing money.

was positively giddy with excitement today. He announced Lara Trump indicated to him that he would be introducing TSF to the stage of Madison Square Garden.

Now understand this much:
1. Sid is Super Jew. I don't say that in any antisemitic way. (I am Jewish.) Sid just thinks that he is the perfect Jew and all other Jews are "crappy" if they don't vote for TSF. Sid even broadcast from Israel on October 7 to show that he's a Jew and a Zionist on steroids. Even spoke to Bibi, whom he hopes will come on his radio show.
2. Sid is blind, deaf, and dumb about the historical comparisons of the German-American Bund Rally and the Trump rally. Not just compartmentalization. I mean denial.

* WABC-AM in NYC is hyper-RW radio with the exception of former Rep. Anthony Weiner and DJ Bruce Morrow. (I'm not too sure about Tony Orlando . . . )

Maybe the people pulling the strings let the Covid pandemic mimic the Spanish flu pandemic. Both pandemics swept the world after exhausting wars. There was a stark contrast of life styles. On one hand, people were drinking champagne out of their shoes, while others were losing their businesses and farms, battling inflation and watching unemployment climb higher and higher. After the Roaring Twenties, the 1930s saw fascists' rise to power across Europe and Asia. By 1938 hitler was a world leader, and showed his triumph by holding a rally in New York. He went on to ignite WWII and commit horrendous crimes against humanity. As I write, the are raging battles across the planet, inflation remains painfully high. Some people are paying to be launched into space and others are living in their cars. traitor trump will emulate the rise of the fuhrer by attending a rally in New York. I imagine if traitor wins on Nov 5th, the world will plunged into a worse war that WWII was. Why? I don't know. Maybe there is reincarnation and the people behind the scenes want to reenact history, rewrite the ending.

11. George Costanza is mistaken for a white supremacist going to a neo-Nazi rally in MSG ("The Limo")

And the white supremacist flew in on Trump Airlines. You can't make this up.

And notice the 1930s American Nazis and the 1860s Confederates held slave-owning POTUS George Washington in the highest regard (unlike POTUS Abraham Lincoln or FDR).

And when the U.S. Capitol was here in Philly, which was in a state where slavery had eventually been outlawed, Washington had to pack up his 9 slaves and send them to stay in his Virginia home every 6 months, or his slaves would be automatically freed by the state of Pennsylvania.

They are memorialized at the site.
