Mar-a-Lago property manager makes first court appearance in classified documents case
Source: CNN
De Oliveira was indicted by a grand jury Thursday on four charges, including conspiracy to obstruct justice and making false statements to the FBI.
On Monday, he was informed of his rights as a criminal defendant but did not enter a formal plea during the roughly 10-minute hearing.
He will be arraigned on August 10 in Ft. Pierce, Florida. He was released on a $100,000 bond pending trial.

its standard operating legal procedure apparently reserved for those with unlimited lawyer budget and lawyers with no limit to unethical behavior.
Who are all these lawyers filing this shit?? Its like brain surgeons operating with rusty pliars
everyone can see what they doing is wrong but no one can stop them from operating!?

(6,269 posts)said in this report claims prosecutors charge trump with "mishandling several classified documents" when trump has many, many classified documents. Kind of a misleading statement to me. But what the hell do I know? With all these hundreds and hundreds of thousands of words surrounding the 'alleged' crimes of slimeball, all I can say is we will see.
There is just a small knot in my stomach at this time telling me Slimball trump will escape consequences for his many crimes and grift of people who choose to believe Slimball.

(5,763 posts)they had to go through the owning agencies (National Defense Information remains the 'property' of the agency that created it) to determine which ones are OK to share with the attorneys and jury. Apparently there are some that are still too sensitive to be revealed like this.
Not to worry, though - it looks like they have WAY more than enough to make the prosecution stick.

(3,912 posts)Its reasonable to give a defendant a large amount of time to find the right lawyer. This case is unique so many lawyers may not want to be involved. If a charge is rare or complex, it may also require a defendant some time to find a lawyer.
Additionally it's only been around a week since he was indicted. Therefore the fact that he's looking for a lawyer isn't that weird, especially since a lot of the lawyers he might have chosen may already be personally conflicted or already overloaded with related cases courtesy of Jack!
This fella' needs to do the three-step...
Step one, ditch any lawyer Trump gets for him...
Step two, get his own lawyer to represent his interests, not Trumps...
Step three, take the new lawyers advice to flip on that fat fascist bastard if they'll still cut him a deal...
