Fulton Sheriff sends leadership to Miami to prepare for possible Trump charges in GA

ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News has learned that team members of Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat went to Miami on Tuesday to help prepare in case former President Donald Trump is charged here in Fulton County.

They always seem to have the riot gear on and battle weaponry ready for peaceful protests, which always seem to be peppered with provocateurs who cause trouble giving police a reason to use force. They never seem unprepared for situations involving those protesters.

Why does a Sheriff from Georgia need to go to Miami to "help prepare in case trump is charged here in Fulton County"???

If a Sheriff's office doesn't know what "safety and security" look like, they're in all kinds of trouble. I mean, who did New York and Miami Sheriffs have to look to in order to figure this all out?

I guess there isn't a playbook on how to prepare for a former president's indictment/arrest.
