.....................Insiders claim that DeSantis has set his sights on the former Trump press secretary to be his VP pick after she won the race to become the state's first female governor in November, succeeding Gov. Asa Hutchinson who served in the role since 2015.

"He really only has one strong choice: Sarah," the source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "He is desperate to lock up his running mate before he makes his formal announcement. He would announce his VP candidate very soon afterward."

"He thinks it will be a one-two punch and Republicans will be hard-pressed to look past a united front, especially if it is him and Sarah," spilled the campaign insider.

58. I have not researched the question but I know of no requirement in Arkansas law

requiring Governor Sarah "Smokey-eyes" Sanders to resign as Governor to run for VP. If there is such a law, the Arkansas General Assembly would be quickly called into session to rescind it. To my surprise, the General Assembly seems terrified of Sarah and gave her everything she demanded in the recent session. I suspect that the General Assembly would jump at the faintest hope that Sarah might move back to DC.

All of that being said, I have watched Sara since her College Republican days. She is frightening. Fortunately (or maybe not), Sarah is not nearly as smart as she think. VP Harris would destroy her in a debate, if Sarah was so foolish to participate.
