Santos competed as a drag queen in Brazil in 2008, report says, further adding to his wild backstory

Source: Yahoo

Rep. George Santos competed as a drag performer in 2008, former acquaintances said.

Santos, who is gay, has backed anti-LGBTQ legislation and conspiracy theories.

Santos has faced a slew of allegations related to his past, and has admitted lying about his resume.

Embattled GOP Rep. George Santos competed as a drag queen in Brazil in 2008, according to two acquaintances, despite the new lawmaker, who is gay, now backing anti-LGBTQ legislation and aligning himself with the most right-wing Republican lawmakers.

Tony Devolder has to be a chaos agent and I have no doubt that he is Russian backed too.

This is not from the onion. Now will the Proud Boys show up at his house with their AKs? Like
they just did in my neighborhood to stop a Christmas play for kids.

(if they have any) to remain silent about something they find so abhorrent.

All and all, Santos has provided some good comic relief at this time.

You are mistaking a feature for a flaw.

Yes, in fascist authoritarian systems, the leadership class routinely and flagrantly "violates" the norms they profess to others.

That's actually part of the psychological operating method of cults and other authoritarian systems.

Live a simple life, untroubled by attachments to material possessions, while I greet you from my Rolls....

There is a mind trap among decent people that, at some point, "the hypocrisy" will bring them down.

No, no, no, no, no... it's the hypocrisy which SUSTAINS them.

You think nobody in the DPRK notices that Kim Jong Un is pretty well-fed for having grown up in a famine?

Or that Hitler wasn't German, and certainly wasn't a blond-haired blue-eyed Aryan? Instead he was a short guy with a genital abnormality.

The hypocrisy is itself one of the mechanisms to attack critical thinking and encourage members to simply accept what they are told.

Why should I care whether he was a drag queen? It's not one of his lies being called out. It's just piling on with homophobic crap.

He should be tossed out on his ass for all of his campaign lies and fundraising shenanigans. Let's keep our eyes on the prize.

you have to know that your life will be totally exposed.
If not the press, social media will definitely find some real substance if you have any kind of social account.

This guy epitomized idiocy at its highest level, if he thinks none of this would ever be exposed, which it appears he did.

w had his appointment to a safe Texas National Guard post, business failures, drugs, alcohol abuse,
going AWOL, and academic failures.

Trump had links to both the American (Italian mob) & Russian mafia, links to Putin, business failures,
theft, graft, rape charges, draft dodging, stealing from the widows and families of the KIAs in Iraq &
Afghanistan w/his Trump U, bankruptcies, cocaine & sex parties with under age woman, academic failures,
money laundering, and God only knows what else.

But all we heard about was Al Gore and the internet, swiftboats w/Kerry, and HRC's emails.

BTW I think Santos aka Tony Devolder will be gone w/in days.

I'm disgusted with the double standard over there. And when Democrats are disgusted, we don't have to feign it. It's real. It's visceral.

I thought he'd dressed up, a la Rudy Giuliani. But now I see this photo, he was a professional drag queen. He looked good!

Interesting career trajectory. But I agree with those saying there's nothing wrong with this part of his story. I doubt the GOP will like it, though. They're such hypocrites, it won't matter.
