Kyrsten Sinema Files to Seek Re-Election

Source: Political Wire

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) “has taken the formal step of filing paperwork as an independent candidate for 2024, even though she hasn’t publicly said if she will seek reelection,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“Filing a statement of candidacy doesn’t bind Ms. Sinema to a run, but it does allow her to raise money.”

for the Senate, any chance a moderate GOP candidate would run as (I) to negate the impact of Sinema (I)? Should Dems support such a candidate?

The race might look like this:

Lake -GOP
Sinema - (I)
Flake- (I)
Gallego- Dem.

of someone who might draw GOP votes. Any moderate GOP would work,if you could find one. The POINT is to negate Sinema's effect.

I can't imagine her getting re-elected in Arizona. The Dems don't want her, neither do the Repukes. There aren't enough independent voters to put her in office against the party candidates. She's done unless something weird happens. Maybe Biden will appoint her Ambassador to some unimportant country, I don't know. Her Washington career is over.

There isn't a date that is way into next year that would be the first day you could legally file to run. There should be a set date.

as an independent --3% of no-party-declared or independent voters registered in the state = about 42,000 nominating signatures.

If she ran as a D or an R the requirement in AZ is one quarter of one percent (0.25%) of same declared-party as the candidate registrants, or a little more than 3,000 signatures.

Ain't happenin'.......... It's all about the money.

She's addicted to buying clothing, looking gaudy and selling the clothing all. the. time.

Wonder if she posts and boxes items up and how they get shipped and who is paying for the shipping?

Because the most important bloc for a candidate running against a Republican is Democrats, and I see more than enough people sitting it out.
