Kanye West Blames George Floyd's Death on Fentanyl, Not Police Officer's Knee

IN ADDITION TO railing against the Jewish media, Kanye West spent some time on Drink Champs regurgitating what he gleaned from the George Floyd documentary made by alt-right firebrand Candace Owens, his partner-in-White Lives Matter. Most notably, West said that fentanyl, and not being suffocated by a police officers knee, caused Floyds death.
I watched the George Floyd documentary that Candace Owens put out. One of the things that his two roommates said was they want a tall guy like me, and the day that he died, he said a prayer for eight minutes, West told Drink Champs. They hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guys knee wasnt even on his neck like that.

The family is suing. and since Kanye has much more money than Alex Jones, the amount of money he will have to shell out will be exorbitant.

Seriously, though, it's kinda sad that nobody cares enough about him to insist on him getting some serious psychological help.

(30,341 posts)Anosognosia is a condition where you cant recognize other health conditions or problems that you have. Experts commonly describe it as denial of deficit or lack of insight. It falls under the family of agnosias, all of which happen when your brain cant recognize or process what your senses tell it.
This condition can happen with mental illnesses, keeping a person with a disorder like schizophrenia from recognizing that they have a condition and need to take their medication. It can also happen with conditions that affect your body, such as stroke.
Who does it affect?
Anosognosia affects people with other medical conditions, especially certain mental health conditions. It is most common with certain conditions, including:
Alzheimers disease.
Dementia.
Bipolar disorder.
Schizophrenia.
How common is this condition?
Anosognosia is incredibly common with certain mental health conditions. Experts estimate that it affects between 50% and 98% of people with schizophrenia, about 40% of people with bipolar disorder, and more than 80% of people with Alzheimers disease. It also happens to between 10% and 18% of people who have one-sided paralysis after a stroke.
Snip...
What are the symptoms of anosognosia?
People with anosognosia usually show that they can't recognize a medical problem they have, either through action or what they say. In some cases, people with this condition will rationalize whats happening to them, or they may try to cover up symptoms. They may recognize some symptoms but not others.
Anosognosia means a person cant do one or more of the following:
Recognize that they have an illness or medical problem.
Recognize the signs and symptoms of the condition that they experience.
Connect their signs and symptoms to that condition.
Understand and agree that the condition is serious and needs treatment.
In some cases, a person with this condition may avoid the truth about their condition, and they might do so consciously or without even realizing it. Some might confabulate, which is when a persons mind fills in gaps in their memory with false memories.

Maybe if he ever went back on his meds he'd wake up one day and go, "Wait. I said WHAT!?".

(5,363 posts)Floyd would have died without the police around because he had enough Fentanyl in his body to kill 10 people and that is why he passed out and died. The police just happened to be there at the time. It seems to have been a talking point on FOX. That is the only channel he watches from just after "prayer hour" before breakfast. After "prayer hour" he turns on the TV and eats his meals in the living room so he does not miss a word.

(5,363 posts)I have only visited them about 3 times in the last 10 years. I live in Pennsylvania and they live in Mobile, Alabama. He is the only person I have ever denied on my e-mail account because the the stuff he would send to me daily. He used to be a big fan of Rush. He would listen to the radio and TV at the same time. When they visited me I made him listen to Rush on the porch. I told him it was because I did not allow hate in my house when he asked why. When I visited them the last two times, my sister made him turn the TV off because I stayed in the kitchen doing things so I would not have to listen to it in the background.

(10,799 posts)... It does not matter if/what drugs were consumed by George Floyd. He should not have been killed. He would have survived the drug, but not the police officer... I'd tell Ye his drug intake is not the point!
... People do not "deserve" to be murdered because they do something that may not be safe. Also, police officers should not murder citizens that are restrained, no matter what they might have done.

(3,389 posts)His antics were tiresome long before he even yanked an award out of Taylor Swift's hand, and that was 13 years ago. He has a significant amount of talent, and I say that as someone who generally detests rap and hip/hop. But his personal issues and demons have long since grown to overshadow his talent. The man needs help, or at least someone to tell him "no, you shouldn't do that, dude."
Insofar as the Floyd family's suit goes, Floyd did have fentanyl in his system, among other substances, but not in quantities significant enough to cause his death. That fact alone may save West from getting hit with a huge judgment in a civil trial, unfortunately. Or it may not. I'm not a lawyer. If he gets hit with a massive judgment, perhaps it'll cause him to pause and evaluate a few things. I would say "reevaluate" but I don't think he ever evaluated things to start with.
