'Pro-Life' Herschel Walker Paid for Girlfriend's Abortion
Source: The Daily Beast
Herschel Walker, the football legend now running for Senate in Georgia, says he wants to completely ban abortion, likening it to murder and claiming there should be no exception for rape, incest, or the life of the mother.
But the Republican candidate has supported at least one exceptionfor himself.
A woman who asked not to be identified out of privacy concerns told The Daily Beast that, after she and Walker conceived a child while they were dating in 2009, he urged her to get an abortion. The woman said she had the procedure and that Walker reimbursed her for it.
She supported these claims with a $575 receipt from the abortion clinic, a get well card from Walker, and a bank deposit receipt that included an image of a signed $700 personal check from Walker.

I'm curious how his supporters twist themselves into pretzels to defend it, though. Think they will be honest and just come out to say "but it's different when WE do it"

Walker has an R after his name; that's all most Georgians need to know to vote for him. The rest is just background noise.

(6,991 posts)That that brain-damaged, pulling guns on his ex-wife and "threatening to blow her head off" fool Walker thinks that abortion is murder, and should stay overturned no matter what, and FEDERALIZED. I guess states rights don't matter to MAGA.
So, HE gets to murder precious fetuses because you know, he's a member of the fetus-loving GQP US Taliban "Let's force little 1o year old's to have her daddy's baby" Party.

(6,991 posts)I can't see anything this loser has done that's accidently right.
Look at what his son says, and I've critiicized his son a LOT.
Walker hid secret kids, he's a pathological liar, and worse.
But what Christian Walker says about his father speaks volumes about his father, and that is just one tweet. He went after his own father, and mean he tore his dad's face off literally, and Walker's saying that it's a cheap stunt by Warnock? Really? So, Warnock told Walker to murder a precious fetus?
Herschel Walkers son calls candidate a liar and hypocrite over abortion denial.

He would never, ever, ever, allow a woman he slept with to get an abortion -
Unless he got her pregnant, of course.

(54,274 posts)Tommy Tuberville coached at Auburn for a few years.
His main claim to fame was that they beat Alabama a few years when we had shit coaches.
Before the current Nick Saban era.
Just prior to running, he lived in Florida, but owned a piece of land in Alabama which was just fine for the Alabama Republican Party.
With Richard Selby retiring, Tuberville will be our half term SENIOR SENATOR from the great state of Alabama.
Our new junior senator will likely be Katie Britt a bible loving mom, married to a former Alabama football hero, who is pro life, etc., etc.
WE. ARE. FUCKED.

It amazes me how hypocritical these clowns are. I've noticed that the louder they yell at Democrats about their social programs, the more they use them. When will they catch on that we are onto their hypocrisy?

Family violence is bigger deal here than the pollsters seem to realize. The news about Walker paying for his then girlfriend's abortion in 2009 will likely cause a few resignations in his campaign tomorrow if not later this week.
I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us. Youre not a family man when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.
Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office, because we all knew (some of) his past. Every single one.
He decided to give us the middle finger and air out all of his dirty laundry in public, while simultaneously lying about it. Im done.

Months before news broke alleging that Herschel Walker paid for an abortion, top Republicans in the state -- including those advising his team -- warned him that the story could torpedo his campaign.
Four people with knowledge of those preliminary discussions said that the abortion issue was well known within the state, even before reporters began inquiring about it....
