More Than 4,000 Women Say They Want to Run for Office Since Trump's Election
http://fortune.com/2017/02/07/trump-women-running-for-office/
The numbers have meaning.
On Monday, Emilys List, the political action committee that supports pro-choice Democratic women, released some hard numbers to back up that anecdotal evidence. Since Trump won the White House on November 8, more than 4,000 women have reached out to the organization to say they may want to seek elected officethats quadruple the number of women Emilys List had heard from in the past 22 months combined and includes 1,660 inquiries since inauguration day alone.
Those figures are unprecedented in the organizations 32-year history, press secretary Rachel Thomas told Fortune. The demand is so great that Emilys List is tweaking the way it operates.

(20,219 posts)22. Geez, People Magazine, you cant just say, Heres evidence hes LYING ?
Wrong seems like typical middle-American mass-medias addiction to euphemism, to me. Dont say lie, that might offend someone.

(20,219 posts)26. Thats Amurkin mass-media euphemism in a nutshell.
Partly why so many of us cant distinguish bullshit anymore....were swimming in it all the time.
