The little girl was still in Bluey pajamas.
No older than 3, she was trying to smell the flowers.
At her side, a pink rolling bag.
Her father, Joan Sebastian Guerrero, had just been fatally shot and yanked from a car hed been driving. Now, he lay handcuffed in the street, where he would remain for five hours.
You took her dad, you took her dad! a woman nearby yelled, according to Cecelia Humiston, 22, who witnessed the interaction in Biddeford on Monday morning.

(55,739 posts)Witnesses heard as many as seven gunshots. The Kia Rio that Guerrero was driving had at least four bullet holes in the windshield.
I cannot express my absolute hate appropriately for these monsters

They were planning to execute someone, it was just the wrong someone.

(27,060 posts)murdering people on the street. They combine it with the lie that the victim was weaponizing their car. So they can say it was self-sefense and not intentional since it was not the person they were really after.
All lies. All bullshit.
ICE is a gang of murdering goons.

(20,160 posts)The Atlantic - "Six months after (Renee Good) and Alex Pretti were shot on the streets of Minneapolis, little has come of the probes into their killings."
"Nearly six months have passed since federal officers shot and killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti on the streets of Minneapolis. No one has been arrested, the Trump administration has provided no reason to believe that any serious investigation is taking place, and federal officials continue to stonewall state and local investigators in Minnesota."
"This inaction was predictable. The day after Goods death, Vice President Vance insisted at a press conference that the agent who shot her would face no criminal charges. 'That guy is protected by absolute immunity,' Vance told reporters. 'He was doing his job.' Soon, Stephen Miller doubled down on the message, announcing 'to all ICE officers' that 'you have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties.' Federal agents apparently received the message: The next day, an ICE agent fired a gun into a Minneapolis home, wounding a Venezuelan immigrant, Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis. The week after that, Pretti was killed outside a doughnut shop. The Department of Homeland Security called him a 'domestic terrorist' and said that the officers who shot him had acted in self-defense."

(110 posts)And my partner of 38 years is of Mexican descent. Shes as dark as I am white. We held each other tight, there are no words. She wept and I felt helpless, then angry. These are.our sisters, brothers, mothers, and fathers these sinister criminals are killing and imprisoning. The time has come for us to remember who we are and what we stand for. I am going to begin by calling Senators King and pearl clutcher Collins office along with Congresswoman Pingree. Jared Golden is a wast of time. Ive called these offices so often but I am going to do it multiple times a day. Enough.

(2,223 posts)Think about it. ICE is nothing more than a gang of organized criminals, similar to the mafia. Except the mafia had to answer to the law for their crimes, ICE knows that they can get away with murdering anyone they want without answering to anybody.

Really. We need to let it be known that all eventually will be held accountable with a vengeance. So that they will all someday rue the day they signed on to do the evil orange assholes bidding. Seriously!

(2,001 posts)Would even apply for such a job if they werent having ideation of killing another Human Being and getting satisfaction (and payed) for it. These are the dregs of humanity, if not worse. And we are giving them the approbation they crave, and cover to indulge their Homicidal tendencies.
How can you not know this is wrong?
We need to make this stop.
And see that it never gets traction ever again.
And compensate these unfortunate young children for having been victimized by our Homicidal policies and disregard for the Rule of Law, displayed in every summary execution allowed by an illegitimate Junta.
They are the innocent victims of our Hatred.

(2,285 posts)Ive seen more outrage aimed at Platner recently than at her. This isnt to excuse him, but what concerning is we have basically every republican senator (and a few democrats as well) basically brushing all this aside as collateral damage. I guess we as a country basically decided weve killed a lot of people overseas. Why not give the government the authority to kill more at home?

(2,285 posts)But several other democratic senators have voted for resolutions thanking ICE for example.
I agree its not the same as republicans giving Carter Blanche funding through their bill, but Im not going to excuse any actions legitimizing ICE actions in any way.
On edit, it was not a senate resolution but this one in the house I had in mind and here are the democrats in the house that voted for it.
