Am I missing something?

I get that things are not as rosy as they could be, but ousting of some good Democrats is not going to help. There are is too much of the critical thinking going on.

What I’m saying is that being too progressive or not progressive enough is killing our chances of survival as a political party or movement.

We are a party of one. Not like the GOBers who tear themselves apart trying to get to the top of the heap. We are witnessing their demise from all of this madness of Droopy Drawers’ manic hold on them.

We need to stop this “I’m more progressive and will get more done” mentality and work as one. We are losing some good people who have been working hard to improve our way of living.

I was taught “be careful of what you wish, because it may not always be the best result”. I’ve learned the hard way and resort back to this advice an awful lot.

I do hope that those who did win the primary will be able to get the job done. I wish them the very best, but with the current state of politics? Well, it’s anybody’s guess how things will work out for us all.

and a new generation who aren't business as usual. We do need this. We can't keep doing things the same way.

As Heather Cox Richardson points out, whenever we have been in a position like this where our Democracy looks like it will fall to fascism, it has been followed by a hard jog towards more progressive. Because that needs to happen.

It's a good thing.
