It is all relative. Bill Pulte is the latest. He could be a manager at your local McDonalds. But Trump wants him in charge of all the intelligence of this country. An obvious national security risk, but who gives a crap? He wants TV stars - he doesn't want capable bureaucrats. That's why we end up with Pete Hegseth at DoD. Kash Patel at the FBI. Todd Blanche at the DOJ.
The "best" people to Trump are those that are loyal and are willing to lie for him. They are not competent in their jobs. In fact, he has not hired one person that is truly qualified for his position. A Cabinet of sycophants, better suited selling cotton candy at the carnival.
