He didn't. He USED Jesus.
Hokit's very next comment,
the smear of Michelle Obama,
reveals just how deeply
he fucking hates
the actual teachings of Christ.
Like 100% of MAGA racists.

(19,971 posts)manipulate people who care about Jesus.
Instead of being offended that someone tried to manipulate them, these people who supposedly care about Jesus gobble down that shit.
It is really pathetic that most self-professed Jesus lovers don't recognize and reject people trying to hijack their thoughts and emotions via Jesus.

(4,351 posts)The performative display of Christian identity, language, or symbolismoften for social, political, or cultural advantagewithout sincere belief, spiritual conviction, or alignment with core Christian values.
Fugelsang said it a lot more succinctly. But in my small sample I've introduced the term Christopretensism to they all instantly understood what it meant. I'd love to get people everywhere to refer to it by that.
Calling it Christian Nationalism (or Christian anything) confuses people into thinking it's just another Christian denomination.
