Sen. Blumenthal asks Trump nominee for US Court of Appeals, Daniel Traynor, "Was the Capital attacked on Jan. 6th?"

BLUMENTHAL: Was the Capitol attacked on J6?

TRAYNOR: The actions on January 6 were deeply troubling to watch, but I'm not going to characterize it

B: You are perpetuating a lie. I don't know how you can continue as a district court judge, let alone serve on court of appeals. Frankly it's shameful.

Wouldn't that be a refreshing comeback? One already-life-time judge, up for a "promotion", being honest?

I think it shows how malleable many, many people are in when faced with power and threats.
