The story about Pam Bondi having thyroid cancer is not good.

I have known people who were diagnosed with this horrible illness.

My aunt died about a year and half ago from thyroid cancer. It’s painful and she suffered through it for a couple of years.

I wish no ill to anyone who is suffering from this horrible disease.

But! Bondi is the exception. No, I wish for her to come back from this. Yet, she has said “you better watch your back because things happen”!

Well, it’s maybe karma or it maybe punishment for her ill conceived behavior?

No matter the facts or the truth? She is a hypocrite and horrible person. She has cater to Trump’s every wish and even after she lost her job, she still provides cover for his behavior!

Lesson in life? Maybe, but these people will never understand “karma is coming” soon enough! Although, not fast enough for some! Cough Cough!

the typical Trumpian "the buck stops over there" move.

A cancer diagnosis is scary. I was diagnosed with a different cancer late last year, fortunately caught early and very treatable, but it's still a life-altering event (not to mention a time-consuming one). I hope she has a quick recovery and will be well enough to testify when the new Congress convenes in January.

BIL had thyroid cancer, but it was caught early and had his thyroid removed. This was probably at least 20 years ago. I guess he takes a medication to replace it, synthroid I think.

Thyroid cancer has a five-year survival rate of over 98%. This means that you’re about just as likely to live for at least five years as someone who doesn’t have thyroid cancer. Usually, the cancer stays in remission. Remission means there are no signs or symptoms of cancer.

These numbers vary, though, depending on the cancer type and cancer stage. For example, the five-year survival rate is excellent even when papillary and follicular cancers have spread. On the other hand, less than half of people with advanced medullary thyroid cancer survive. All forms of the rare anaplastic type involve a shortened life expectancy.

Is thyroid cancer curable?

Yes, most thyroid cancers are permanently curable with treatment. This is especially the case if the cancer hasn’t spread to distant parts of your body. Treating thyroid cancer in the early stages reduces the risk of cancer spread.

It started in her thyroid and spread. But she didn’t realize that until she couldn’t walk without being pain. It has spread into her spine. She was in a wheelchair shortly after she was diagnosed.

Cancer is a disease that affects everyone.

But if you have to pick one, thyroid is the one to get. If caught before it spreads to other areas you have a 98% survivability rate. They remove the thyroid and give you iodine. You stay away from your kids for a few days take synthroid or the like for the rest of your life and in most instances you live a long life.

All that said, it is not 100 percent and Iman, I am sorry for the loss of your Aunt.

I’m going to assume for the sake of argument that she really does have thyroid cancer. They’re like eight different kinds and some of the survival rates are in the high 90% range, like 97%.

As usual with the media, the details are never given, assumed not to be important, this is much more complex than it appears to be, and you can never go by anecdotal cases. Saying that someone died from thyroid cancer and so this lady is going to it’s like saying that their brother-in-law got into a car and was killed in an accident so your neighbor shouldn’t go to the grocery store.

It is very common among women, I have had literally dozens and dozens of people in my practice diagnosed with it and to my memory I have never lost one from the thyroid cancer. OK, maybe one back in the 1980s.

If she were diagnosed with a glioblastoma, an aggressive pancreatic cancer, a metastatic osteosarcoma or even non-Hodgkins lymphoma, her prognosis over time would be guarded to poor, but absent details, this may not be a life-changing issue for her.

I am certainly not defending her, but I am very tired of misreporting and inadequate reporting of medical conditions in the media..

I approve of this message. I hope her medical advisor is JFK Jr. She should chew on a Raccoon penis.
I hope she survives but before hand she gets WOKE enough to do some good to soften the blow she may get from The Gate Keeper. Something like seek justice for rape victims and see that the rich rapers get what they deserve.
If she does not have a come to Jesus change, then he makes it hurt, like the pain she has caused all those victims.

My sister had thyroid cancer, she had to get her thyroid removed, radiation therapy, and is now on a thyroid replacement. It's been twenty or more years. It sucks donkey dicks, but it's survivable.

I have no sympathy for any MAGA moron, doesn't matter what it's about. Fuck them.

Fuck cancer. Let's get that out of the way.

But an appropriate employment of cynicism in view of the totality of her prior behavior would note that this could be an opportunistic usage of a mundane and not particularly dangerous diagnosis (if it happens to be a Stage I or II, which have VERY high survival rates) to engender sympathy at the same moment she is trying to offload the responsibility for her law breaking onto others (Blanche, et al). Cancer is never convenient, but revealing a cancer diagnosis may be.

My thyroid was removed because my parathyroids were keeping my calcium too high, with one parathyroid reimplanted under my collarbone. My thyroid was removed at the same time because one of the nodes was enlarged. Pathologists found encapsulated papillary carcinoma, and all I needed was a daily pill, levothyroxine. No radiation, no followup, just a yearly ultrasound for recurrence. I was very lucky! So was my sister who had her thyroid removed a few years later. Now they can just zap the thyroid with a laser! No surgery! And if they can identify which node has the cancer, they can just zap that node and the levothyroxine is not needed!

So she will probably be around to watch her life dissolve into the penal system. And we can all cheer!
