tRump is panicked that his ill-advised war in Iran will cost him the midterms despite all the gerrymandering, voter suppression etc. Iran knows it, so he's dealing from the weakest position possible.

But guess what. Even if he gives Iran everything they want (which he probably will, loser that he is) it's too late. Five months might be long enough for some things, but not to turn around gas prices sufficiently by November. P.S. What about grocery prices? Lack of tourism which is further decimating the economy? Loss of Hispanic vote due to ICE and saber-rattling against Cuba? Etc etc etc...

But, hey... I welcome our new Iranian overlords. Gawd this reality timeline sucks.

while Trump's revenge vendetta may have been satisfying in the short term, it did not protect them from out of sight healthcare costs, a tariff destroying economy, massive job losses, an inability to feed/clothe/educate their families, and bankrupt generational farms/ranches

while Trump voters had no problem with deporting "illegals" they did have a problem with deporting their "illegals".. an invisible workforce that digs ditches/cleans sewers/carries bricks/washes dishes/scrubs floors/pours concrete/gleans fields...and while Trump voters are not not happy with Trump's Iran vanity war, they are truly peeved at paying triple the price of a gallon of gas at the pump...

but these particular Trump voters are going to vote Democrat in the midterms, not because they have suddenly gone "color blind" or embraced equality, but because Trump didn't protect them from exactly what he said he would do to his/their perceived enemies ...and that's why we are going to take the House and possibly the Senate...
