As far as I am aware, Iran proposed a peace plan and then Krasnov went public and misstated or contradicted what was in the plan. I don't think that anyone from the US was involved in the negotiations, just Pakistan.

I challenge anyone to show me one issue in Iran's plan that was agreed to by Krasnov, just 1.

But nevertheless, the MSM went nuts with headlines that stated a peace plan was imminent. Crude oil dropped 5 dollars based on this bogus statement by Krasnov. Krasnov must be worried about gasoline and diesel prices and his fossil fuel friends and market friends are manipulating the numbers.
